Well I believe that "inane" comment was mine, and I fail to see what's silly about my initial post. My beef was with the original article, that so shamelessly heralded Siri as "best in class." That's wildly subjective, as evidenced by you and I.

Even Woz prefers Android's voice recognition to Apple's. More to your other comments, it's not as black and white as what you would have us believe. Siri does a lot of stuff, but it doesn't do any of it extremely well. My Android recognizes my voice and does what it's designed to do much more efficiently than Siri.

"Best in class voice-recognition: Siri"

On a completely unrelated note, at least he has good taste in restaurants. If I'm not mistaken that is a Firehouse Subs cup.

No, they didn't, or if they did they went in with their mind already made up after reading an endless number of so-called "reviews" from reviewers that decided they hated it and didn't care the moment it's resurgence was announced at PAX.

Ahh! It was Discworld: Mortality Bytes. You guys rule. Never would have guessed that. Everywhere else I go people were saying Simon the Sorcerer.

I can't think of the title, and all I remember was this reasonably fun demo of a point-and-click adventure title where in the demo you played as a sorcerer who was trying to prove he was "dead" to the town coroner to gain passage out of the area. Come on kotakuites, for whatever reason I can't find it, who's gonna

Ah... I'm the exact same way, I couldn't finish a number of games because of my arachnophobia. The sight of spiders makes me physically uncomfortable, and I'll be damned if I'm going to play a game that makes me uncomfortable.

No way dude, the American version is much better. It has a few lax episodes for the mere fact that it has been on for >8 seasons now.

The British version is missing that special something that other sitcoms have... you know... comedy.

To each his own, I love VS

It seems petty, but Estacado's gotta get a haircut. He does not look like a mobster.

Taken as a whole experience, nothing this year has stuck in my head the way Deus Ex has. I haven't put as much time into it as others, but GOTY shouldn't be a 'time-played' contest.

Actually, according to the art book for DNF's Balls of Steel edition, 3D Realms at one point had DNF's story following the return of Dr. Proton. They scrapped it, but you can see the remnants in the Mothership level, the Proton Casino is the first to go down. Personally, I enjoyed 3D Realm's DNF, and whether Gearbox

Yes, I have changed my mind, Doom II is perfection, the original is near perfection.

I concede. Doom II is more perfecter than Doom 95

False, the original Doom was, in every way, perfect. ;)

........hello Bulletstorm, Deus Ex, Crysis, Brink, Borderlands, Dead Island (sort of)...... List goes on, there's plenty of innovation in the FPS genre. The big ones are BF and CoD, however, and there's very little innovation in those two series, but that doesn't mean that FPSs on the whole are suffering from

I get pissed when people say don't get angry with reviewers. I personally don't base my buying habits on what reviews say, I picked up, played, and am still playing and enjoying DNF multiplayer, and we all know what everyone says about that. With Duke it's not a big deal, because they're GOING to make another game.

As someone with a severe case of arachnaphobia, at 8:30, eff that noise and eff everything about it.
