I do wish Picasa was available for Mac. Even my grandfather uses it on his PC, and he raves about it. For now, I'm using GIMP as a free editing solution since I have nowhere near enough need to shell out for Aperture, Photoshop, etc.

Evernote is top of my list - the iPod Touch app is great for on the go, and Adam's Hack Attack article about it has changed my life.

Labels make the consolidation process waaay easier. Labels + filters = easy reading. Labels + filters + keyboard shortcuts = blindingly fast reading. I can sort and read only what I need to right now, and it saves a lot of time.
