I have helped a few teens with the rollback recently. Teen girl A wants to know if Teen boy B has looked at her daily story, but its apparently much harder with the update and she can’t even. Its hilarious, and I can see this update tanking its popularity with the youngs.

Same concept though. They can’t issue a traffic citation without an officer present, so they issue a municipal fine instead. This is government over reach and should be stopped. The alternatives I listed above to make it legal would also apply to speed trap cameras.

Speed cameras are ALWAYS abused because they stop being profitable after a few months and they need to be moved to a new intersection to trap people. Instead they just shorten the lights and trick the drivers.

Speed cameras are illegal in the way they are currently deployed, and that needs to change.

Anyone who complains about the Prince bit should be complaining to the estate that owns the rights to his image and music. Lets be honest, they wrote a big check to use it in the superbowl, and the estate could have said NO. Instead they said YE$$$.

With a legal automatic rifle, they could waste 720 round of ammo as fast as they could reload it. Fully automatic rifles shoot 700-900 rounds per minute. The AR15 is rated at 45 rounds per minute, but that is dependent on finger speed. With the bump stock it goes up to 400+

1 round per second is the rule at most ranges. No rapid fire. So 60 round per minute, is about 12 minutes for 720 rounds. Granted, you spend most of the time reloading, but 500 rounds in 45 minutes is about normal. The other 15 minutes is just checking in and checking out.

I’d say anyone wanting that much ammo at once is not okay.

This thread is about to be filled with stories of asshole neighbors. A little bit of pleasantry goes a long way. I have some pretty great neighbors, but I also make a point to be nice to my less than friendly ones. I also have a lot of cameras on my property, but I haven’t had any issues in a decade.

This is smart. I could go buy two beaters and do the same thing. Just one time having a family member back out of the driveway and impact someone’s car whose nose is peeking into the driveway would probably cost a lot more than picking up a couple $500 beaters.

At no point have I advocated reducing school funding. I simple reject the simplistic idea that raising property taxes will suddenly make the schools better. That’s complete fallacy and has been consistently proved wrong. Its the lazy answer. The reality is that more affluent schools do better because the more affluent

Sounds like you got up on the wrong side of the bed. There are dramatically better ways to teach our children, maybe we should try some new ones. I never advocated cutting school spending, but I don’t see a problem with tying the funding to each individual student and let his parents decide what is best for their own

A week earlier, he had been preparing to leave the country of his own accord following a deportation order stemming from what immigration officials claimed was a “sham” marriage to his first wife in 1980. That woman has since reportedly recanted her claim that she married Othman to allow him to stay in the country.

We know that spending more money on education doesn’t improve test scores, so we know more money isn’t necessarily the solution. Maybe we need to re-evaluate the situation to find the problem instead of just throwing money at it because we don’t know what else to do.

FEMA is temporary, and they were never going to be there more than 6 months. They are not the solution, and I know this from personal experience after Katrina. If anyone expects them to stay, they don’t understand how our government works.

Huh? What are you smoking. The S65 is all aluminum and the S54 is IRON.

What? Inline 6, Inline 4, 60 degree V12, and 90 degree V8s are all balanced and have no need of balance shafts etc. Its when they go all modular and make V6s for packaging reasons that everything goes to complete shit. If you made the V6 120 degrees then it would also be balanced, but it wouldn’t fit in anything.

I told Bangle to his face that the Z4 was a disappointment, and he just looked at me and shrugged. Then he went on to describe all the ways that he tried to make it less ugly with the M version. Apparently the creases on the hood were very challenging to implement. A whole new way of manufacturing. Nice guy, terrible

The Z3 was at the crossroads of old-school and new-crap BMW. It had the modern engines, but lacked the overly complicated body computers. It wasn’t burdened with excessive amounts of electronics that ultimately would break and cost a fortune to fix. You don’t need to re-code basic replacement parts like window motors

...and as sexy as the rear hatch was on the Z4 coupe, it couldn’t make up for how ugly the rest of the Z4 was. The Z4 remains hideously ugly to this day, and also manages to look extremely dated.
