At least he isn’t getting paid by the giant corporations to screw us over like the other guys. Granted, he may screw us over anyway because he is crazy, but he may actually try NOT to screw us over.

Its all the magazine racing that causes this. These flappy paddle gearboxes are really cool until you have to pay to fix it. When the pump, controller, and servo stuff comes in at $3000+ each then the $300 clutch/pressure plate combo seems like a much better deal.

I don’t care how stuff works, I just don’t like to get ripped off. Stupid tax is real. I had a appliance repair guy quote me $194 for a heating element for my dryer when I bought it on Amazon for $11. No joke, same part. $11. $400 for the total service. I don’t know anything about dryers, but I do know how to google

Who says you can’t take the parts with you to the repair center? They just order them off amazon anyway. What difference does it make if you do it or if you let them do it and then buy cheaper parts and up-charge you a fortune.

That’s what we got. We don’t really have a good song yet either. I will just have to sit back and console myself with being ranked #1 in the MLS this week.

Also just in, Benzo returning to Inline 6s!

What are you smoking? Stealerships mark up parts 3-800% these days. Its insane, never buy parts from stealerships. Buy them over the internet, or anywhere but in person at a stealership. If you want factory parts, thats cool, get them, but never pay stealership prices for parts.

One time I had a auto-tragic transmission that was constantly slipping and I thought it was done. I even took the car to the stealership to get a diagnosis and they told me the transmission was bad. One day I was at gator nationals and was looking at a solenoid on the outside of a drag racing transmission and was

I snapped a picture of this car at Sebring one year. I know nothing about it, but it looks really cool.

My point was only that the NC top was easier to lift from the driver’s seat than the NA/NB tops. Convertible tops are stupid anyway and are the worst part of a great miata.

Yup. I had a Silver 92, then a Montego Blue 96, then a Silver 2003. The NB just felt like they added a lot of weight to the NA to make it look different, but it was the same car underneath. I took the convertible top mechanism completely off the 96 and never looked back. The hard top was dramatically better in every

Ok, so this has gone completely off the rails. I have had 3 Miata’s. I can do the top from the drivers seat, but its awkward. The point I was making was that the NC is DRAMATICALLY easier to do from the drivers seat. As in one finger operation so the PRHT is kind of silly in comparison. And it looks bad too.

Down is easy, just flip it back. Up from the driver’s seat is a challenge on the NA/NB.

Drop, yeah, but it takes some serious rotator cuff action to get the top back up from the driver’s seat. I am a strong guy, but I would get out of the car to do it. Plus unzipping the window and stuff if you don’t have the glass one.

While I understand that it does in fact work, the manual convertible top on the NC is literally a 3 second affair. You just reach back, grab it, and pull it over you. Super easy, almost no effort.

Shut your whore mouth!

No, Miata is the most popular sportscar/racecar ever manufactured.

Model S is an electric only car. That’s good. One system to diagnose and fix.

This just proves that a Miata coupe would look awesome.
