No one points out that you don't own kindle books, only the option to read them. You do own paper books and can pass them on to someone new when you are done with them. Even a stranger, its that simple. Just hand the book to them.

How about they toss the whole concept of a rotary engined car and just use a wankel to generate power for a hybrid? Then give us a V8 RX-7. Every one of the V8 swapped RX-7s I see are so very tasty.

Make sure you get video when the federal government comes and takes it from you and tells you its a 2015 model and its not legal for import even though they approved it already.

I guess that just goes to show you the difference between a miata ECU and a lexus ECU. The Miata doesn't seem to care. Or at least mine didn't.

Well, this guy already converted the whole damned thing to a Lexus setup, and he claims to have the proper manual transmission to bolt to this V8 of his. My point was that putting in a manual wouldn't have been any more labor than what he already did.

So your stripped out race car weighs less than a stock Miata? Woooo, fancy! My friend has a stripped out M Coupe with lexan windows and the whole lot and I bet it weighs less than your supercharged Miata. (This is a pointless exercise.)

Huh? What the hell is an E37? There is no such thing and that's where you lost me.

The problem with your argument is that the filthy stinking rich are mobile, meaning they will just leave and keep their money rather than stay and pay too much in taxes. They can afford to uproot and go wherever they suddenly choose to go. So the end result is just screwing over the little guys who you are trying to

Actually, the manual swap on a miata is absurdly easy. The clutch master/slave is completely separate from the brakes. You just bolt in the clutch pedal where the auto trans control box is under the dash. Then you add the master cylinder for the clutch, run the line to the slave cylinder on the transmission, and

Well, I was referring to the non-running ones that you could get for a grand or two. If you have a race motor, you don't need anything else anyways. I personally think the convertible tops on Miatas were complete shit. They leak, they are noisy, and most horribly they couldn't be put up when still in the car

You make some good points, but in my experience there hasn't been anything on the coupe that I have had to replace or service that I didn't have to do the same on the miatas. The Miata, if anything, was more work to service. Just tightening the belt tensioners or setting the timing with a timing light, those two

Oh, so now I think you haven't seen a coupe in person. Its a very aggressive looking little monster, that's for sure.

You would be surprised how many exotic collections already include a Coupe or two...

I got one for sale if you want it. Anniversary edition.

You bought a camry. We are all going to laugh at you for being too stupid to know its not RWD.

Whatever, the dash probably isn't cracked. Its probably that little strip next to the glass that is easily replaceable. Either way, bring it on down after you buy it and I will help you replace the dash.

It's more like whining because they don't have one if you ask me.

I think people are just afraid of things they don't really understand. Shimming the valves is pretty easy to do, and you might as well do it when you pull the valve cover to replace that leaking valve cover gasket. I like to stuff all the holes with red rags just in case. Odds are that most of them are in spec.

While that is mostly a true statement, the Z3 is abnormally easy to work on compared to other BMWs. Mostly because it lacks all those fancy electronic features that are always breaking on the other cars. Even with the S54 engined cars, the ECU (Engine Computer) and the ZKE (Body Computer) aren't really connected.

Not sure what is up with my inability to post photos, but I got thousands of them just dying to get into this thread....
