1st and reverse are the parking gears. The higher the gear the easier it is for the rear wheels to turn the engine. If you park faced down hill use reverse, faced uphill use 1st.

There’s a bulge in the front of the passenger side door pocket. Holds 20 oz bottles perfect and alot of cups from fast food restaurants fit too. With a top preferably. Always wondered why they didnt do the same with the drivers door pocket too.
