I took the movie as being alt-history, like Inglourious Basterds. Maybe even the same universe. Just not meant to be taken as any attempt at historical accuracy.

I would trust Harbor Freight more. Picture a drill that looks like it belongs in a kids toy tool set, but then you realize it’s got a real chuck for real bits. A chuck that looks like cold cast aluminum.
