I love Aronofsky and definitely loved Pi years ago. Can't remember enough specifics to really say much other than I thought for a low-budget flick it brought us really in close to the paranoid world of the main character. It's pretty unnerving.

I love The Lonely Island's style of humor and enjoyed Popstar well enough but 7 Days in Hell actually had me rolling more. Agreed on the Bin Laden track though, that shit was ridiculous.

I don't go much for Westerns, but hot damn is The Unforgiven a knockout. Hackman in particular.

I give this comment five bags of popcorn and……a big pile of mud because that's how Schwarzenegger hides from the predator. Great movie.

I'll probably never spend another second of my life listening to DMB but yes that is a dope album.

You didn't even see the movie, did you?

You get all my upvotes for today.

She's possibly my favorite songwriter ever (but yes I have a crush too), and I've been fortunate enough to see her on four disparate occasions: Rilo Kiley's last tour, solo gig, reunion with the Watson Twins, NAF.

The Hold Steady are probably my favorite band. I'd seen them about five times and over those years I'd anointed Separation Sunday as my favorite album of all time - but I'd never heard them play "How A Resurrection Really Feels". A couple years back, I saw them again and they closed with it, and it was my birthday.

Only saw them once in 2002 but it remains one of the best shows I've ever seen, despite me being only a casual fan.

Legitimate cool story

Also got lucky enough to see Massive Attack twice; obviously they tour pretty infrequently. First was The Wiltern in LA and that was fantastic but later in San Diego the venue sucked and it was just okay. Both shows were after Heligoland came out and Martina Topley Bird was the female voice du jour. Andy Horace was at

He would be my answer too! Didn't think anyone would know the name. He's amazing. My count would only be about 8-9 shows, and it's been probably ten years since the last. I exchanged emails with him a while back, though.

Dessa is so great. She's a good MC but "The Chaconne" is actually my favorite song of hers.

This

What evidence do we have that Dekker wants "full bravery cred"? He didn't initiate this, Fuller did. He's reacting to a situation that has been thrust upon him. I think his response statement was very even-handed and in no way was used to glorify himself. If he wanted bravery cred in order to to boost his career, he

WHOA that was him! Haha.

Your misspelling of his last name makes me think that Tim Heidecker's "Decker" should have a season where he battles an evil gay villain named "Dekker" played by Thomas Dekker and in the end Tim's character finally admits he's gay and they run off together to rule the world in a totally incompetent way.

I recommend checking out Kaboom, unless you have seen Gregg Araki's other movies and disliked them.

Yeah actually I already thought Dekker was gay (not that it's any of my business) but didn't know that Fuller was gay, and out.
