Sorry if this is long...so I'm a little neurotic/an overthinker in general, particularly in terms of hearing back from people or anticipating reactions from people. Some of this likely comes from dealing with a borderline mom with unpredictable reactions to eeeverything, but the more relationship-specific

@Australienne: I'm really sorry you're in this situation...having had a similar experience with my mother, I really feel for you! I am around your age and don't live at home, but I found out about Things when I was in high school, and my mom at the time was inappropriate in her level of sharing...things remain bad

@ablative: AHHH THORNTON. I want to have babies with his voice! This and Little Dorrit are my absolute faves, and both inspired me to read the books as well.

@lauras_lovely_lady_eyes: I was in this EXACT same position a few months ago, and it really really sucks. It's probably true (as it was for me) that he's not going to be over that relationship or the fuckedupedness (word?) for a long time, even though it feels like there might be some way, or something you could do

@sybann: I have a feeling Hamlet would not approve of this particular manner of...shuffling.

@sportz.star: Some of us liked saying "first-year" because it made things a little more like Hogwarts (along with the Platform 9 and 3/4, which is still there, I checked recently).

HAHA this is absurd, I can only imagine what community looks like right now. And, as a Wellesley alum, I have to say it:
