So is this supposed to be a replacement for the Commodore-based Park Avenue in china? Where would this concept, assuming it makes it to production, fit into the lineup?

nobody is actually paying that much for them, you can get 5000+ off msrp any day of the week.
BMW has had quite a few internal combustion hydrogen engines. were we to implement the infrastructure, then internal combustion hydrogen would probably catch on pretty fast.
everything about that is awesome except for the spoiler, it just doesn't match the look of the car at all.
not as big an issue as you might think. also there are tons of LHD esprits
The biggest problem with the Esprit is the pedal box. any car that requires special shoes to drive isn't great.
I think that the difference here is that the Forester XT is a very good, possibly excellent, car. to 2cv was a compromise from the beginning.
to be fair, it's not hard to make a comparison to a ferrari mondial and come out ahead.
and these are just the automatics, there are probably another 4-6000 manuals around as well. hard to believe that they sold that many of them. I remember when they came out suzuki said that they planned on selling some ridiculous number of them, like 120,000 or 160,000 of them a year.
The soviet-era models are awesome. My favorite car I've ever owned was an '85 120L, it's so pure. power nothing, not even an automatic choke. and it drives better then an NA miata, at least partially because it weighs 500 pounds less than an NA Miata
"Vtec power showing some speed" cue the honda fanboys in 3. 2. 1.
In what world is a 2cv worth more than a Rolls? it violates basically very rule of everything that I hold dear, like supply and demand. they probably made 100 2CVs that year for every equivalent rolls-royce. and given the choice, it is no choice. Rolls all the way
of course it's not 100% true, but it's still pretty much the same cost to make a car that is 'pretty good' as it is to make one that is truly heinous
I remember reading a quote from an auto executive (from ford maybe?) around 10 years ago. it went something like "good styling doesn't cost anything, you have to bend the metal either way". I might be crazy though, as I too am a fan of the orochi. it's like a bizarro world lotus evora.
I don't see why it wouldn't, they replaced a supercharged inline 6 with a turbo inline 6, same shape and whatnot, depending on supercharger placement this may be shorter that stock heightwise
if the batteries and controller are both getting upgraded, then they will almost certainly add supercharger support.
ok, I'm going to ask the real question. Does this car have a B-pillar? I haven't been able to figure out from any of the pictures.
If lotus wants to sell more cars then they should partner up with more car companies and have like a 'Focus RS Lotus' with weight reduction and lotus tuned suspension. they can sell cars from other companies that would be well received without diluting their main brand of sports cars.. they have done things like…
The resale value is my favorite part of cadillacs, they tend to be much more reliable than german cars but depreciate like stones from a blimp
don't worry, here in a decade or so we'll end up seeing this engine swapped into a miata or fr-s.
