either the turn signals or the brake lights (can't remember which, maybe both) must be in a fixed location. this is why the ferrari california has such silly looking tail lights.

why wouldn't the production model have a manual? the evoque does (in europe) and the powertrains will probably be basically the same between the two models.
the tiguan is one of the more competitive vehicles in its class, and in most of the countries it competes in is the top selling car in its class. I think it may not be marketed right for americans, I've driven one and loved it.
considering that the majority of japans debt is yen denominated, it makes sense for the government to inflate the currency as much as possible. it will make exports more attractive and the debt relatively less valuable. also cheaper wrx and brz for me!
it is much less expensive in china than in the USA. think of how many more people would have chauffeurs if it only cost 7000 a year here?
I really want to say that James May did in japan once, but I'm not 100%.
in europe there is this crazy robot hand looking thing that prevents you from shifting the manual transmission. it's function appears to be the same as the club, but with a different implementation.
The whole cobalt recall thing makes me wonder "who still has a cobalt?" there are definitely far fewer of them on the road where I live than there were even 3 years ago. maybe they are just moving to more rural places, but seriously around 3/4 of them are off the road here already.
I don't see why there is such a big push for making electric car sales in china, the electricity there is really dirty relative to burning gas. the reason for a great deal of their smog is the huge dependence on coal power plants, a push for cleaner burning gas engines (like maybe aligning their emissions standards…
As someone who used to live in TN, I always thought it was a very Democrat state, My only experiences are in knoxville, nashville, and memphis (where I lived). I know people from Chattanooga and assumed it was similar there as well. I wouldn't call any of the state liberal, but not particularly conservative relative…
American Here: I've never heard it, ever. and we have all kinds of racist and discriminatory words for every single possible group of people.
the weirdest thing is that none of them are enthusiasts, just really cheap people.
I've never seen a car with the shifter bent like that before, looks like he-man shifted too hard into first.
Every person I know who owns a fusion has a manual, it's some kind of weird anomaly seeing that they are really quite rare.
what's even crazier is that in europe they sold the manual all the way up until the first few years of the discovery 4.
they exist to make audi dealers a crapload of money when the mechanism breaks. which is inevitably roughly a week after the warranty expires.
The biggest reason it doesn't look like the dashboard of the future is that, for better or worse, it has exactly ZERO cupholders. at the rate the industry is going now, the interior won't be made of anything but cupholders.
I used to have an 85 120l skoda, it was awesome. took it up to 175 km/h in germany, it was the scariest thing I've ever done in a car. the build and material quality is actually superior to most american cars from the era, oddly enough. best 400 dollars I've ever spent on a car.
