I like the idea that Google tries to make its Docs more complete, but the current offerings cannot let me ditch MS Office. Even OOo couldn't, mainly because the features and templates in their Impress still can not impress me enough.

I'm with iordo. I also use Mozilla Backup for that purpose.
I am using PixVue for annotating photos. It's very handy to edit XMP and ITPC simultaneously by right-click a photo. You can search in Windows Explorer.
@yazan: Same here. But FreeMind isn't a web app.

Maybe also apply that tip just posted earlier: dry your washed keyboard in rice. :-)
If you want a speed-up version of Acrobat Reader 8, you can look for the unofficial lite version in MSFN forum.
I have tested this yesterday. It's fun to play but the process wasn't as smooth as the demo. For instance, the page went blank after I hit some button (still didn't which one) and I couldn't find where to retreat the version I saved previously. This happened twice. On the next day, I access the notebook I created and…
The meter was gone in one of my yahoo accounts (Beta) but not on the other, even though I have used the latter since 97.
