short sales are a pain. banks never cooperate. If they cut-loose on a property they have to mark it down as a loss. If the house sits empty and no one paying on the mortgage it's a non-performing assets. Shareholders would rather see non-performing assets than losses.

GWB said homeownership should be a goal for all Americans and then everyone jumped into it with whatever they could to be approved. Many times it was an adjustable rate.

I can see that. My local teams (Minneapolis market) are not popular (nationally) but the Wolves, Wild, and Twins all play on a cable station (FSN) and I refuse to pay for a cable bill just to watch Fox Sports North.

Bought the router. Mine is garbage (and now available for sale on Amazon!) and I want to use a service so I can watch local baseball games without my cable provider. Saved $80 bucks. Score!

for sure. don't get me wrong, it's awesome and i wish they'd build replicas of every major leave stadium. even before/afters for renovated stadiums. imagine a before/after of Soldier Field?

what was the drill used for? it moves slightly at first and eventually is up-right but remains on screen. I could be wrong, but if you're using a drill with legos you might be doing it wrong.

I had friends that moved from the friendly north to Memphis. I'm not surprised they like WHITE chocolate mocha. The way they talk these days. It would make your grandfather blush.

Yeah this is a big "whatever" to most people.

FWIW those Lego sets (train and helicopter) are only $4.99 at your local Target.

Half acre per lot adds to the problem of urban sprawl. More houses on less land make more sprawl.

Seriously. I have no idea how people have time to watch TV. I had to squeeze in Gravity last night and that's only 90 minutes.

Does anyone really need to live near the capital for any reason? I live outside of Minneapolis and feel like St. Paul is a 6 hour drive away. I never go over there. Wrong side of the river.

Geographically Minneapolis is a better capital. Some midwestern states (Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota) selected capital by picking a city in the middle of the state.

I can see that, but I was never a big fan of her. She always looks coked out.

Is this the NSFW/Porn gal? If not, she should be.

No I don't. This was 2007 and 1 dead WinXP laptop ago. I know the university had a copy of it floating around the office but it doesn't look like any of that is online either.

True, but the line would not have been built without the Mall of America. The Ghermezian brother's that own the Mall of America have stated the Mall would not have been built without a light rail line.

In the Mpls area the malls that were built were the Dales; Southdale, Rosedale, Brookdale, Ridgedale. The only one torn down was Brookdale and honestly it was due to the area and not the mall. The other malls have undergone major renovations in the last 10 years but Brookdale was located in a really rough part of

Southdale was my mall growing up so I know it well and then studied it later in college. Interesting to note that the designer (Victor Gruen) wanted to design a community center and not the end of Main Street.
