Start with TV Fool to determine how strong of an antenna you need to pickup your local channels. This help you determine which antenna is right for you. I did watch the show for a while but felt it was incredibly over-rated. Am I alone on this island?

My Amazon stream was terrible through my Samsung Smart TV but it's much better through my Sony Blu-Ray player. My Netflix streams has been solid through my Apple TV. I did tweak my router settings to give my Blu-Ray player and Apple TV priority over any other device. I think that has helped.
