I’m calling BS on the Marvel thing. Just make the damned movies. Make good movies with female leads. Make a She-Hulk movie that is good, don’t make a movie to beat everyone over the head that it has a strong, female lead that doesn’t need a man and is all fem all the time. A good She-Hulk movie can do that without the

Welcome to life as a Conservative in California.

Or you could come back as the crazy guy who keeps talking about some dude named Hitler, that nobody else knows about.

Just one minor point about this supposition.  It happens all the time, when people with less than desirable pasts are hired, with the admonition that the past won’t be a problem unless it becomes a problem.  Maybe they have cause for a suit, but not one they’ll ever win.  Even if they win their job back, there are so

Okay. I get your point, but just for the sake of argument, why then was it SO important for the CW to say they were going to cast a lesbian actress? The character is fictional. It’s fantasy. There is this thing called acting, where you pretend to be a character. Surely, there are better actresses who might be less

Don’t go to the housekeepah!

Cruise has that alien blood that keeps him young. Elba could easily be a 006, who is just as badass, but with a slightly different skillset.

If GoTGIII goes forward, great! In whatever form. If not, most will probably not notice any loss. But some, perhaps even many, might not, and that might make the difference in some extreme cases of bills being paid. I’m more concerned with their well-being that I frankly am with that of either Bautista, Gunn, or even

Most will be fine and not notice a loss. Some, by simple virtue of there being one less project out there, will lose work, through absolutely no fault of their own. Maybe only a few, but I’ve always had a problem with people protesting where there is no risk for them in doing so. Someone else always seems to get

That’s been my exact point with this whole Bautista. He’s actually putting nothing on the line with his, threat to walk off or get out of his contract. He could go back to wrestling, and he will get other parts. I’ve always been more concerned by the faceless, nameless “little people” who will be financially hurt by

I kinda thought I remembered reading that back in the day, but wasn’t sure enough about it.  From Disney’s point of view, that solves their problem if Bautista phones it in or walks.

Yeah, but they could, through Disney Magic say that Drax has Dr. Who powers of regeneration, and “kill” him. Then he regenerates into some other, random “actor-wrestler”. Bautista needs to understand, while he is enjoyable in these movies, they are ensemble pieces-- the Rock he ain’t.

Don’t pick on HQ’s costume. That scene, when they all suit up, was the best part of that movie, and since I’m a moral, upstanding guy, the only reason I can think of, is the costume. I mean, it couldn’t be anything else, right?

What if, and stick with me here for a second, what if, the big-bad of the show IS Batman. We all know he has to be a little off kilter, just because he’s a grown man who dresses as a bat. What if the premise of the whole show is that he finally snapped, and is a bad guy. It could be set in another universe, blah blah

As in the kinfolk of the merpeople?  Please let it be that, and not the other thing.  I’d wig out!

Here’s what I’m thinking. The big bad wins. Either Reign, or one of the witches, or someone early on next season. Supergirl, J’onn, Mono, and maybe Alex have to travel to the future to get the magical doodad that will allow them to come back and win at the end of the season. The whole season takes place in the future.

They can’t just do what they did on TV, and say it’s his son or nephew?

As I wrote this, I thought, “I’d read that story!”

Duh. His mom, head of the Council of Marthas, sent him to Gotham just as she and Thomas were gunned down by the rebellious Martha “Ma” Kent, to be a symbol of hope for the city populated entirely by former patients of Arkham Asylum.
