I was thinking closer to this but whatever

Hasn’t this jumped the shark yet? It was funny for a while, but now it’s become corporate advertising fodder and there’s not much humor or surprise....it’s becoming very cringe.

As long as White people think that the police will protect them from the imaginary race war/purge, they don’t give a single nut fuck about footage of a sleeping man being shot to bits by a bunch of psychotic cops.

Furthermore, just because the data your feeding into you machine isn’t specifically about sexuality or intended to act as a corollary doesn’t mean you aren’t unintentionally grouping people by that characteristic.

In one week, watched 3 seasons of the Gilmore Girls, Avengers: Infinity War and Ant Man and the Wasp (twice), the Ted Bundy Tapes, and three episodes of Sophia the First.

I believe them in this case, but Netflix always does this weird dodge when it comes to denying stuff like that. “No,we’re not tracking your race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We’re just tracking your age, location, and highly detailed viewing history, and it’s not like knowing where you live and what you

Counter-Counterpoint: Yes, we totally do.

It’s funny you mention Ecco the Dolphin because the developers of those games (including the 3D Dreamcast game Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future) also made Jaws: Unleashed!

This dude has been fucked over, and fucked over, and fucked

You thinks those are “americans” when Steam is a WORLDWIDE platform not limited to just the US?

Before people start jumping in and saying “B-but, muh 1st amendment rights!!” without understanding a gorram thing:

Yes you can. Steam is a private service with a Terms of Use all users agree too. If you violate the Terms of Use you can totally be banned. Steam is not a Government, nor a public right, it is owned by Valve a private company and they can ban whomever they want.

Yes, you absolutely can. Steam/Valve has a code of conduct and violating it can mean losing access to the games you have purchased. When you buy a game you don’t own it, you are paying to use the license and it has been clear since the beginning of time that those licenses can be revoked at any time. Think of it like

Until Steam gives a lifetime ban to the email addresses, IP addresses, etc. being used by these people it’s not enough.

Please tell me they banded their accounts and thus blocked their access to their library.
