OH MY GOD. Thank you for being the only person in games journalism expressing this opinion. I thought I was the only one and the future of games for me was doomed.
I actually hated it, and I love every one of the others. It's short (even for a katamari game), I felt like the stuff to pick up wasn't spaced well at all (I often couldn't find something small enough for minutes at a time), and most of all the King of All Cosmos looks extremely weird and creepy.

I got Gravity Rush (or Daze, whatevski) free from PS+, and was like "Yeah, I'll give it a shot, it might be alright." It blew my stinkin' mind. As soon as I beat it I was googling "gravity rush 2"
