Looks like Miyamoto’s executive creative fellow powers are showing. I know the Wii U really needs games right now, but recognizing that your game needs more polish is something the industry sorely needs in this day and age. We’ve already seen too many rushed disasters even from the best of them, and Star Fox doesn’t

“I was originally a console game producer. Layoffs, mergers and what not eventually got me associated with mobile games.”

My gut tells me more Reggie and more Bill but who knows, maybe Miyamoto’s young successor has swagger

I’m withholding any serious optimism for this game until I see what the actual gameplay is

Well all know this is happening because it’s a Yuri game and people will eat that shit up. The market for Steam VN is bent decidedly toward the ones catering to gross, hyper-sexualized stories. It’s what sells and almost all of what companies like Manga Gamer care to put out.

Let me teach you some Internet geography:

totally. ^_^

I’d love to see that as a gif. All Super Saiyan style.

If by “expressing themselves” you mean asking game developers to stop working on a product they’ve been hard at work at just because you arent satisfied by what you’ve seen in a 60 second trailer then yes you are a god damn asshole and should stop feeling so entitled.

What’s funny is people seemed to really like the Blastball demo shown mere days earlier when it was believed to be a whole new franchise. The moment it bore the Metroid name which, like all the Mario spin offs (Tennis, Soccer, etc.) simply is there to move product, it became almost 100% negative. People are assholes.

Wow. theres a difference between being very disappointed in the Metroid announcement and being an entitled dick who tries to get a game cancelled just because they don’t like that it carries the name of their beloved franchise.

Ugh how dare Nintendo show off games coming out this year. They should of just announced stuff just for the hell of it because apparently playing games this year? Screw that. You “win” e3 if fans have something to look forwards to 2+ years away.

I’m really excited for Nintendo’s E3 Direct this year. Last year’s was just so fun and different that I just can’t bear to look at E3 the same anymore. Nintendo took something that is usually boring in terms of presentation, don’t get me wrong the announcements are fun, and they made it a delightful event. I felt like

I’ve always loved Samus, but her role as an early badass female protagonist is sullied just a tiny bit by the fact that one of the unwritten goals of the game is to play better so she’ll wear less clothing in the ending.

I’m glad. As a Wii U owner, I really feel bad for the system. Because it’s actually pretty damn great. And while it is great, I don’t feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of it yet, and I’m not looking to replace it with Nintendo’s next home console. The Wii U just has a lot of untapped potential.

I think what we should take away from this is assume that all costume wearers at conventions are potentially someone awesome, which is usually the truth even if they’re not celebrities.
