For what’s its worth, the Pikmin shorts were fun. Also, Miyamoto not giving a crap about stories in games is very much true (if it weren’t for Tezuka’s insistence the whole storybook segment of Mario Galaxy weren’t there for example), that doesn’t say anything about his views on stories in general, much less about

Just wait until people need to eat their words when Labo turns into a massive success.

You know Nintendo plans years in advance, the Switch was made very much under his watchful eye.

Gon’s side of the equation is wrapped up sure, but Gons dad really felt negligent. Like he didn’t care a single bit. Which seemed to contradict a lot of the hints he left for Gon to find him.

Many people already pointed out to me that the wrap-up is in-line with the manga, so yeah, remaking it (again) doesn’t make much sense now.

That’s a bucket-load of time though, I think I binge-watched the series like two years ago or so. Loved it, although the meeting at the end felt a bit anti-climactic leading me to believe it wasn’t in line with the manga. huh... wel at least I know I haven’t missed too much yet.

I can see the answers just normally though. I think you need to be starred or replied in. Happens across the kinja sites anyway. Not quite sure how it works.

I haven’t read the manga, so I don’t know how much the ending contradicts the material, otherwise they could just retcon it and continue after the ant arc. (and while another go at the spider arc does seem interesting, just continuing would by my suggestion too I guess).

What I’m wondering is: will they have a third attempt at an anime? I really liked the second time, although the wrap-up was kinda (really) lame.

Dude, that’s a double-slap on my nostalgia-bone.

Speaking of, Has nobody that uploads anime tried Jim Sterlings Copyright Deadlock yet?

It’s a free game where I didn’t spend a single cent on, so I’m not too miffed, but I will be watching Nintendo’s mobile strategy. I’ve been on the fence for Mario Run, but it’s always online connection made me not go into it. Now I’m even less inclined to buy it since if they pull the plug, that’s all for my €10,-.

I wonder how much Labo will allow you to program the HD-rumble, the trailer seems to suggest as much. With a good knowlegde of physics, this guy/girl might be able to get the grasshopper moving just yet.

With all this though, I wonder if Reynolds can do the “hard-boiled detective”, I think it would be great if he did that. Granted, you can fool me with a “we got ‘em while I ain’t lookin’, what a ya doooooin’ in most accents anyway.

I guess that actually releasing a Iwata Smash Sword figher amiibo doesn’t mesh well with Shinto (or budhist) pracitices concerning the departed, but I really wish they’d make one.

That’s the thing though, Have you played any of the new Yoshi or Donkey Kong Country games? Both these games show how good design can make sure any skill level is challenged.

Well this comment is going to be buried in the trenches, still wanted to say this though. The whole comment section seems to either go in on you being “offended” by Wolfensteins baby-man, while I think the heart of the matter is that dificulty settings are dumb as a rule.
