Sonic Adventure 2 came to mind when I first saw New Donk city. The “humans” and city environment helped. The opening stage in the city had full lyrics.

I should think so, It wouldn’t work if you wander around in New Donk City for hours with this song on repeat. The intro and ending would be fine.

I love everything about Super Mario Oddysey, it seems to be everything I’ve wanted from a 3D mario Game since Sunshine (I freakin’ adore the Galaxy series, but they were definitely a precursor to the 3D land/world type of games).

4K textures, VR functionality, 7.1 audio, fancy new rendering options from uber GPUs & DXwhatever versions..... and if you don’t have that stuff, the loud portion of the playerbase screams about how terrible it is.

That’s a nasty split they got going. I could see why Mega’s are controversial in the competetive seen. But as someone who doesn’t play competitively, I absolutely adore Mega Evolution. The lore is bollocks but the power fantasy is real. Besides, finally Blastoise got some love back in X&Y.
