A good life rule is that if you ever find yourself combining cream cheese and ranch dressing for any reason, ever, you need to take a good long look at yourself in the mirror and figure out where your life went so horribly wrong.

I'm very proud of my 18 year old daughter. She researched the candidates and their issues and voted on her college campus yesterday. She gives me hope....
I know! I know! We tried. We really did. I want to crawl into a hole and hide for the next four years.
Who are you talking about? It can't be Mary Burke because she's held several positions at Trek alone-unless the "family business" doesn't count in your eyes?
I'm sorry.....we tried....still hungover from freakfest- Madison, Wisconsin
Go home Wisconsin.....You're drunk.
I tried really really hard!! As did my daughter and husband....
I know! Me too....really worried that Scooter wins. I'm sure what's her face (I really don't want to google her) in Waukesha will find some last minute "votes" to ensure his victory.
I'm a transplant due to marriage myself-grew up on the South Side. I'm in a fairly rural area currently (granted, right outside of Madison) and the village consistently votes Democrat so that makes me very happy. Nothing warms my heart more than a liberal dairy farmer!
I love how the republicans are all over her for "plagiarizing" her job plan while they follow ALEC's handbook line by line and pass of their policies are their own. I really don't see how it's any different.
We're not all bad!! We voted in Tammy Baldwin after all :D
And I'll be at the polls at 7:20 this evening voting for Burke.....at least I'll negate your vote.
I love Gruyere but how many restaurants actually offer it for French Onion soup? Not many that I've seen-and I live in Wisconsin!
23. Split Pea
Thank you for this! I once ordered French Onion soup but requested provolone rather than swiss and I received this incredulous look from the waitress! It's not like I asked for nacho cheese for christ's sake!!
If it backfires, then you may not want to work for a place that doesn't appreciate your personality. Honestly-the point of a cover letter is to give the applicant a chance to point out the skills they have that are relevant to the position.
A good cover letter will compensate for a meh resume.....just sayin'!
It's amazing isn't it? I used to keep a special file for those days that I needed a good laugh.
Hahahaha! I don't ask for much-proper English is a good start (meaning-not written like you are sending a text to your bff). And the word is "through" not thru. And using a thesaurus to add really big words to your cover letter doesn't make you sound smarter....I could go on.....
Oh no no no no! And he/she will be the first person to email you after you fill the job to find out what they could have done differently to improve their application. SMH
