Even though he once seemed to be Trump’s only possible rival for the nomination, the schadenfreude of watching his “campaign” implode has been delicious.

I originally read Handmaid’s Tale in the late 80's and thought it was a brilliant warning about Reagan’s regressive America... but it never seemed so utterly plausible until more recently. It’s almost like the GOP didn’t view the “logical extreme” of the book as a bad thing but rather something aspirational.
I’ve read rumblings that Apple and Amazon may side step the AMPTP and make separate deals with the unions which would be fantastic for their services. Then they could get back to work feeding a hungry viewership with little competition, while the rest of the AMPTP fumbles about.
Can we talk about that stupid fucking shirt he wears with his name embroidered on both moobs? I see it in every photo of him and it looks ridiculous. Is he deathly afraid of not being recognized?
A free sample is one thing, 6000 copies of a product? That’s “Fuck you, pay me” numbers.
Laying off workers in order to fund a lavish lifestyle seems like it would be attractive to gop voters, no? I imagine once the funds run out, it will be the Dems fault for their regulation and rules, or something.
It’s almost as if he’s running a shitty campaign on purpose so he can be the Florida meth trailer park version of the Kennedys.
I love how in the picture they’re all praying. Because, let’s not fool ourselves, it’s because of this magician in the sky that we’re in the place we’re in. To put it another way, these people are anti-abortion zealots because of a fictional story that’s been rewritten a million times. Fuck this shit.
Welcome to Gilead.
He's just so fucking stupid. On the one hand, I'm super excited to see that dipshit flush his entire life away in such a public and hilariously self inflicted way, but also I'm so tired of him and would like for him to finish self destructing and fuck off already.
If it wasn’t about her being rich, I think I would be okay with it. Carrie has money and can therefore get up to wacky hijinks would be fine as a premise. I mostly just don’t want to watch her grapple with it or be hit up for money or what not.
Thank you for articulating so well what I’ve been feeling about the series. I know that it seems to be popular to watch rich women doing things (see:the “Real Housewives of...” franchise), I don’t enjoy it. I wonder if the writers were influenced by the popularity of that franchise and misread what SITC fans would…
I have the same issue with this season. All of the characters appear to be quite wealthy, or at the very least, have absolutely no concerns about money. This is just wrong since they are living in the same post-COVID world we are, so their finances should have been impacted, if only just a little. Big especially, he wa…
Holy hell, if i had 100 Billion (hell 100 Million), i would fuck off so hard. I would be a boon to my friends and family, and local businesses, but i would retire and live a comfortable but not ostentatious life.
They’re going to be called xeets now. Or something equally stupid.
Musk is easily the best example of why we should dramatically raise taxes on wealth, eliminate the loopholes that allow billionaires to borrow against their stock options to live and pay not taxes, and that, as it stands, billionaires should not exist in the US. So much money, no fucking sense, and he confuses his…
Does he know they’re called “tweets” because birds tweet?
