If they want to charge for their API, that’s fine. If app developers can’t afford it, that’s just business, I guess. Pricing your product so high that nobody is going to buy it doesn’t sound like a way to generate revenue to me, but then I didn’t go to business school.

Yup, I like a number of niche subreddits and their communities but this attitude toward the mods and developers can go to hell.

Well, they will continue to let 3rd parties access the API and do exactly what they had been doing - just for a much higher price. They are shooting themselves in the foot, just as Twitter has done, not realizing or caring how many of their users prefer using a third-party app.

Good. Fuck em

Is it just me or are public health officials a little slow? Like they know from previous years what particles are most often expelled into the air during wildfires, yet this article comes out after the worst of it has already passed. Seems like important information to have for people who don’t want to get cancer.

I think the US should do as much as we can to help Canada fight these fires without tying our hands behind our backs for the fire season here (even sending aerial fire fighting units there).

Careful pointing fingers, I don’t know that you meant to point the finger at the people of Canada, but it kind of feels like that way. I’ve had my family sent to the states almost every summer to help with the wildfires down there too, it’s more common than you think. Unfortunately we have some very conservative

Among his other offenses, Robertson helped lay the groundwork for Trump with his 1988 campaign for president. He never had any chance of winning because the GOP establishment had already anointed GHWB, but he demonstrated that there was a base of nutjobs who could be drawn to the polls by positions that sounded

We have a conservative government in Alberta, so of course essential services were cut.

It looks like one of those snow globes, only filled with urine.

Yes, as long as it was in line with the decrease in capacity.

Just curious: would you pay more to fly on a plane with that configuration?

Isn’t it cute when something that occurs regularly other places happens in New York and suddenly it’s a BIG THING? Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana see this shit almost every year now. It wasn’t the headline news on Good Morning America then.

Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah, September 2020 in San Francisco. This was at 9:30am.

The Supreme Court did something good for a change, Trump indictments are stacking up like flapjacks, and Pat Robertson is dead. This seems like way too much good news for a single day. I’ll be hiding under my desk waiting for the other shoe to drop if anybody needs me.

Hey, United, that’s not what we all want.  We want more leg room and more shoulder/ass room.  Change your 737s from 3-3 seating to 2-3 seating using wider seats and remove a row. That will make us all much happier than some seatback entertainment system.

I just assumed those deep orange hues were photos taken at or near sunset. Nope, 2pm.

I saw some photos of Time Square and it looks full cyberpunk/Blade Runner.
