I think Rose was an important voice throughout the Weinstein scandal but honestly, she’s also attention-seeking, unstable and annoying as fuck so I don’t really want to see/hear more of her than I have to. I also think she’s wearing out her welcome by irrationally attacking allies.

Exactly. Oprah is smart, successful, popular, and charismatic, which are great qualities. That doesn’t mean she should be president. It’s a serious job, and needs to be treated as such.

Good, I’m glad the only one who didn’t see “President Oprah?” headlines and feel my eyeballs roll away. Maybe she’s famous and makes a decent speech, but those aren’t the only (or even the key) qualifications. And let’s not forget that she introduced us to the bullshit of Dr Oz, promoted anti-vaxxerism with Jenny…

I completely agree. At first, when this started she was such a powerful voice but, as you said, attacking people in such a way....people who are trying to help, or people who truly didn’t know what was actually going on...it’s just sad to see.

That’s my problem with Rose - attacking allies. Now is the time for women to come together and ride out this wave of change with one another. Dividing that strength is not going to do anyone good.
