Never. I did a test drive of a P100d. I must have done full speed launch at 3 or 4 times. Acceleration is the only max performance number that most people will ever actually get to use. Part of what makes electrics so cool is that they make max acceleration more approachable then most cars

Disagree. I bet tesla owners use this a ton. I’ve only test driven a P100d, but I maxed it out at least 4 times. If I owned one I would use it all the time.

These are premium versions of cars. Who gives a damn about what a BMW 528 does in the 0-60, but an M5 we care about. Get a S75 if you just want a Tesla.

Pretty much what Motor Trend on Demand is. The first few seasons of top gear were good. After a bit it just became way too fake and scripted. What made it fun was that it seemed real. Once that was gone it wasn’t really very funny.

Not ugly, but certainly not great. Full disclosure, I never liked the DB 7 or 9. they were misperportioned. The V8 Vantage was one of the prettiest cars ever made though. They got the demensions just right and didn’t go nuts with styling. That’s why everyone loves the F-Type too.

Teslas are the modern enthusiast car. They are cool as hell and amazing to drive. I’d take a model S with Ridiculus mode over a M5, or M3 any day. I love a car that can be relaxing and comfortable one minute and then rip my face off the next. Times are changing. Embrace it. It’s better. Do you know how your computer
