My ex and I take turns having our son on Christmas Day. He's 16 this year, and this is probably the last Christmas he will want to spend Christmas Eve with his mum instead of out with friends.
Speaking as someone who has previously put up with that behaviour, I hope you ended up with all the insurance and live a long, happy, comfortable life. You deserve it.
I commented on that Buzzfeed thread, after someone said that any rape victim who didn't report their rape had no right to ask for sympathy.
Whatever you do, please don't get hammer drunk on your birthday, and loudly ask 'WHO DOES A GIRL HAVE TO FUCK TO GET A CIGARETTE AROUND HERE?' Just don't do that.
I agree. We are not always good at the ally thing.
Basically neither hashtag should be in a vacuum. We need both to demonstrate the disparity. There should be a #doyoufuckingGETitnow?
The subject fascinates me, always has.
Those victory rolls were awful. And the eyebrows were all wrong. ALL WRONG.
Did you read the bit about the abusive relationship? Why would they want to call him?
I was with Mr Wiccabasket for 8 years before we got married. We are, and always have been 'in love' but it's a comfy, no-drama, snuggly kind of love that is good for us. We plod along, have our 'oh my gods I want to smoosh your face off because I adore you' moments along with the 'pulling a face behind the back…
One of my friends got married at 21 and divorced within a year. We threw her a party, because he was a doucheweasel. He didn't abuse her, didn't cheat on her, but he was....just....icky. And not for her. That and the fact that she had to pay off all his debts and still ended up being liable for a joint loan he took…
I've never been charged more than €1.50. Ever. Even in Faustinhos or W3, and they were relatively pricey.
They assume most people dining in Portugal know about couvert. It's on the menu. It's also insanely cheap and a good way of filling up and saving money if you're on a budget and can't afford all the meat.

They will automatically be…
Why are colleges allowed to self-govern something that is a federal offence?
He is a filthy, dirty boy. I would like him scrubbed and brought to my table at once.
There is a point in any pet-owner's life, when you pet looks at you, and tells you that they have had about enough. I've seen it more times than I want to think about, and each time it kills me, but that is my responsibility as their human. It's part of the deal.
Let them go in peace and dignity - and it usually is…
Thank you for telling us what we as women should all think. Because all women that get married are straight, super-patriarchal, dumb-as-a-box-of-hair, anti-feminists, obvs.
This is why I hate using the word 'trigger' to describe what happens when I suffer a PTSD incident.
