The act of yanking out the F-150 is likely NOT what did in the Cybertruck. In the scene before the failure, the Cybertruck is driven off a concrete pipe, and the hitch mount actually HITS the pipe on the way down. The rear-end drops about 4 feet before it hits the pipe. So the Cybertruck’s frame was probably weakened/c

Yeah the connection between hitch and frame seems a bit shit. But also does ANYONE tow, even light loads with a bumper hitch anyway.  I don’t think I have seen a truck with a actual bumper hitch like like 30 years, it’s always a proper trailer hitch that’s bolted to the frame of the truck.

Did you watch the video? The F-150 wasn’t exactly stuck when the CT snapped. It was rolling and then hit a big bump.

Toyota:  We’re gonna tease you with what you want, but good fucking luck ever being able to buy it from us.

Hmmm, my interest has been Piqued. Move over Normies and your boring little family lives, this is a real SUV! I love it.

I would buy the shit out of that.

You are correct. Brake hard and stay straight.

‘Cuz that worked out sooooo well for the Miami PD

Also, humans are not ‘the best drivers’. Humans suck and cause thousands of accidents all the time. Why on earth would you want to mimick that?

In the video, he talks about how he’s using this as a business truck with his business name on the side. A year ago, that probably was a good idea, but at 16:40 he talks about how Elon has made that a very bad idea.

I think the proper thing is to brake, but not swerve.  I’ve never heard of “Just drive through it”.

I dodged two deer and a possum on my way to work yesterday.

DepLorean.

I have driven cars from almost every era since the 70's in various conditions and have never once had to tighten an essential bolt like the one that holds the door hinge onto the body.  And ditto on never ever having an issue with a pedal, whether gas, clutch, or brake.  It blows my mind that this is happening on

Not only do people regularly hit deer, I know multiple people who have had a deer hit the sides of their cars on the highway.

incEL Camino.

Does anyone that actually owns a Tesla actually drive it like a human? Even with the auto-pilot -whatever activated, your eyes should still be on the road 101% of the time to intervene in any emergency.

Edge case? Are you f’ing kidding me? A deer is by FAR the most common animal you could hit which could ruin your day (and your car). It’s way more likely to be in a road than a human (even homeless ones pushing bikes in Arizona). I have contacted precisely one thing in my 30+ years of driving over nearly 1 million

Hitting a deer isn’t an “edge” case in a lot of places, like a lot of the Midwest, I know far fewer people living there who haven’t hit a deer there than have hit one. I have taken out a coyote on the interstate once (only damage was front plate as it was a clean head to plate hit) and we had a deer total one of our

I attended a livestock hauling course once and the instructor said deer on road, hit it, moose on road, swerve, I wonder if this Tesla was in this same course
