All of them?
All of them?
I’m surprised to see none of our regular “alternative facts” friends chiming in to give us their take on this. Perhaps something so glaringly crappy that even they can’t go out and bat for? Too bad they still have that reflex built in to them where the suggestion of any form of defunding of “law enforcement” = bad.
Then when you normalize the green stripe they throw a blue stripe at you and immediately do a double take because “wtf how many versions of you are there?!”.
Literally everyone is going to look at their cars funny, because when you see one parked at the roadside, you immediately wonder why the rent-a-cop from the outlet mall is out there doing traffic stops.
The law enforcement problem in the US starts with the police and ends with the judges that justify their bad behavior, and all of the shitbag prosecutors and underfunded public defenders in-between.
I am American-born and white as Wonder Bread, and I still flinch every time I see a squad car of any kind. I guess everyone has forgotten that a large portion of good policing is knowing who the hell to leave alone.
First time I was pulled over I was picked out of a pack of cars and by the end of the stop I had a gun pointed to my head for fumbling to get my wallet out.
No surprise. Courts are willing to defer to basically anything police say constitutes “suspicious” behavior that justifies a stop. If you look at police, that’s suspicious. If you avoid looking at police, that’s suspicious. If you are driving a clean vehicle, and are driving carefully, that’s suspicious…
What a surprise.
Yup.
Racial profiling and being thinned skinned assholes, gotta love the border patrol. I wonder how many of them also think they are the punisher
I always look at them funny.
Imagine how many people they could “justifiably” pull over if they got to use the new USPS trucks.
This surprises nobody!
To address this, BMW will come out with an even higher HP, more “in-touch” car.
Another Tesla hit piece from Jalopnik. You wouldn’t even be writing about a car being locked to a Supercharger if it weren’t a Tesla! I haven’t seen a single post on Jalopnik about other cars locked to Tesla Superchargers.
Too bad there’s so much evidence, including videos. Otherwise, he would surely be charged with and prosecuted for committing a bunch of crimes.
Now that you say this, it’s bringing back repressed memories of fashion magazines telling teenage me I should wear orange eyeshadow to bring out my blue eyes and me subsequently looking like a clown while following that advice.
Look how great this worked without damned slideshow.
Seriously, no more of that crap.
