This part of the DOJs case is absolute garbage. It is so fundamentally wrong it makes the rest questionable as well.

This also doesn’t factor in that the OEM will stop releasing updates for the head unit 3 years down the road. It will then become increasingly more dated and useless with each passing year.

There are vast areas of the West and Mid-West that do not have the fast charging infrastructure. I am running a PHEV for this reason. I hope that they can build it out quicker but I have not seen any change in this area in 2 years. 

Is this part of Elons whole grift as well? 

The YouTube comments seem to indicate that this technique is not working out so well.

Are they trying to win over the proudly poorly educated group that will not change their views in the face over overwhelming science and research studies?

If they are not a PHEV next generation, I’ll be skipping it. I like the Bronco but I am not going back to gas only.

If it had AWD and PHEV this thing would be pretty tough to beat.

None yet, but with these kind of milage ratings they will absolutely need one to offset this version. 17 mpg combined in 2024 is absolutely fucking hilarious.

The best way to maximize your worth at a larger organization is to join a Union.

The MPG is whats keeping me away. I hope the PHEV version will at least have 50 miles of electric range. 

I have a PHEV and it is fantastic. Living in the desolite west the electric is great for 90% of the trips but I do live 2 hours from an interstate so need the range when I venture out out.

Charge it to max all the time, get a two year lease and toss that thing for a new one.

It all depends on if they followed the safety guidance and created safe intersections for high speed trains and traffic.
