There are no dates on those dealer plates in California. I drove for a year and a half with Bob Smith Mini as my plate. Finally had to go to the DMV when the Bob Smith couldn’t produce the plates after repeated harassment. The lady at the DMV was impressed by the length of time we were able to run.
