I don’t think Rachel McAdams becoming a star was that big of a surprise. Didn’t the Notebook come out around the same time as Mean Girls? I do agree that I don’t think many people would have predicted that Lindsay Lohan’s career would implode the way it did.

I thought the first season, People vs OJ Simpson, was pretty well done. Sarah Paulson, Courtney B Vance, and Sterling K Brown were amazing in it. I believe it got critical acclaim. Here’s hoping this next season is as well done as the first.

Yeah. I assume this was an extremely poorly written question. Maybe phrasing it as “List 3 reason why the South continued to support slavery” or something.

I liked Johnny Weir’s take:

While Kenton sold her majority share in the company in 2011, she still did bra fittings for the monarch at Buckingham Palace.

Yeah, it’s so disgusting. The comments on Dylan Farrow’s open letter from a month ago were horrible, saying she was brainwashed and manipulated by Mia despite all the evidence that Dylan was telling the truth.

I’d actually have expected Winslet to apologize first, mostly because she has way more to lose. The higher they are, the harder they fall. The damage was already done for Mira Sorvino. She’s been out of the spotlight, and no one’s really been called her out for working with Woody, probably because she’s a victim with

Eh, I’m willing to give her credit for coming out. It’s more than we can say for Kate Winslet and her “I think on some level Woody is a woman” bullshit. I think a lot of people stuck their fingers in their ears and chalked it all up to the “but it was an ugly custody battle” story. At least Mira was able to confront

You should read Dylan’s latest open letter, where she talks about how Woody Allen’s legal and PR teams manipulated the system. They’ve been trying to paint Mia Farrow as crazy and unhinged for years, and the general public has bought their story that Mia brainwashed and coached Dylan into accusing Allen.

A lot of people dismiss her and say Mia brainwashed her. His supporters always bring up the “ugly custody battle,” despite the fact that Woody Allen didn’t bother fighting for custody of his kids until after Mia and Dylan reported the abuse. Mia didn’t even report the abuse to police, Dylan’s pediatrician did.

We don’t know that she didn’t talk to Dylan directly. From her letter she talked to Dylan’s brother about it. It’s not unreasonable to believe that Ronan may have connected the two.

Apparently “political activities and affiliation” are protected classes in CA, so I’m assuming that’s what this douche is suing over. However, even with that, there are limitations. If your political activities (i.e. writing his manifesto) create a conflict of interest with your employer’s business model, or if it

But these are extras they’re talking about, right? It wouldn’t make sense to fly in extras. Though, to be fair, I think Aladdin is currently being filmed in London, and I believe there’s a pretty healthy population of Middle Easterners, so it shouldn’t be that hard to find extras.

I feel like an asshole for saying this, but I kinda feel like once you get to that level of eating restriction, you should be responsible for your own meal. Like I know plenty of vegetarians, and when I host a dinner, I always make sure there are enough veggie options.

The museum makes bank. Tickets in SF are $40 a pop and completely sold out thru February. I think they are open every day from like 11 to 10. It looks like they sell about 70 tickets for every 30 minute slot. That’s like $50k/day. And they don’t pay for the ice cream samples they hand out! I remember local ice cream

The teddy bears made me think of the Hemingway 6-word-story meme. The one where Hemingway supposedly bet he could write an entire story in 6 words, and then wrote on a napkin:

Is there a code? The link says they’re $160.

Is there a code? The link says they’re $160.

Wasn’t that in the works? The Expendabelles.
