I had the exact same reaction. He’s pulling numbers out of his ass. It’s extremely scary, and the fact that so many people are unconcerned is even more horrifying.

He didn’t say “racism is the problem I care about most.” He said everyone else should be ashamed of themselves if they prioritize sexism, homophobia, or transphobia over racism, i.e. “racism is the problem everyone should care about most.” There’s a huge difference.

From what I’ve read, you’re not likely to get sick from airbourne germs on a plane due to the way air is circulated. You’re much more likely to get sick from touching the aisle seat arm rests. Gross people who cough into their hands end up touching all the arm rests on the way to and from the bathroom.
