I feel like a Kia Soul is almost as far from too much car as you can get. I know I know, could’ve bought something cheaper used... it’s just that the idea of a Soul being “too much car” is hilarious.

I see so many people leaving at the same time- are they starting a new project together?

The Maryland lumber car comes to mind

It still comes down to the idea of endorsing a particular set of values. That’s what makes this even more ridiculous.

Never had this issue with no-knead. Are you baking on a really thin sheet/pan? Perhaps move to a higher rack?

I turn on the oven broiler for 1 min, then all the way off. Stash your dough in there to proof. Warms the oven up to ~80F, works like a charm.

#6 for sure. My 87 Celica’s starter would become much more agreeable after being hit with a wrench a couple times. Until it didn’t and had to be replaced. Access to the bolts that held it in were so tight I could only move the ratchet 1 click at a time.
#7 also. 03 Corolla’s aftermark cruise control would pin the

I work in the esoteric microbiology dept at a large medical reference lab. When our bathroom got remodeled and they installed these I facepalmed. The only thing worse than the guys that don’t wash their hands after taking care of business are the ones that “wash” them without soap. Then shove their dirty moistened

The old 240s had surprisingly good turning radii.

1990 740 GLE. Not the actual car, but correct color and wheels though missing front air dam. Learned mostly in an 84 240 wagon, graphite w/o a roof rack.

Where do the fog lights go?

Estimated time until Camry dent occurs?

It’s a shame this wasn’t in Florida (insert Florida man joke here.) She could have pursued a Stand Your Ground defense.

Salty Walrus sounds like a themed bar name.

Field mice have no love for the owl.

Mk II Celica Supra. At the time I drove a red 87 Celica GT liftback and the Celica Supra, despite being older, looked better to me in every way. Something about the long, angular lines.

A spray bottle of fabric softener diluted in water (say 1:15) works wonders. I wear a polyester lab coat at work and it causes a ridiculous amount of static. It’s bad enough that at the hands-free sinks the water shocks me when I go to wash my hands. Lightly spraying the inside of the coat helps, as does discharging

Do yourself a favor and get a set of Hella Supertones. My brother and I both drove Corollas (05 and 03 respectively) and the horns were clownish. Wholly inadequate to get the attention of someone with their stereo turned up. I replaced mine with a set of supertones and was happy with them- very loud, but not

Beat me to it.

A nice Volvo 142 or 242. Boring, but deeply satisfying for some reason. Learning to drive in an ‘84 240 wagon might have something to do with it.
