Protip: The vantage audio is a short clip. In the Collections in the menu, there’s a longer text that tells more of the story. There’s also poems for the flowers, and story for the Banuk Figures if you choose to collect those.

Yep. Just got home and purchased them and now my map is full and busy with things to run around and collect later tonight. I wanted to turn it off and go jogging with the boy and the dog but just one more hunt... My god this game is addicting.
Or that humanity’s response would be to be resigned to defeat and instead try to rebirth the world by handing it over to an AI. Or all the little things that worked and the major things that went wrong and how the world developed after that into the world we play the game in. Anyone comparing this game to the Matrix…
Predictable? Matrix? Yeah, I call bullshit.
I loved how they showed a window into the “Old World” via vantages. The text from the vantages also offered a lot more than the audio portion.
Horizon was a rare game in that I genuinely didn’t want to put the control down till I found out what exactly happened to everyone and collect all the lore collectibles.
Didn’t realize the writer of New Vegas did Horizon. That explains why the story was so good. It’s full of great world building and an excellent sense of progression as the world gradually opens up and feels larger the farther you go.
John Gonzalez might have cut his teeth on the beloved Fallout: New Vegas, but the narrative director told Kotaku that…
eSports!
I feel the exact same waywhen i watch videos of MOBA’s having never played LOL or similar games it’s REALLY hard to understand what is happening there.
I play overwatch and still didn’t feel like reading the article’s walls of text with too many flashy words and descriptors. Glad the tl:dr was in the comments.
I’m always confused with these videos because it’s not blue = friendly, red = enemy like when you play, kinda hard to keep track of who’s the enemy.
It was so much more simpler back then in the Quake 3 days.
you should watch a walk through of the map, to have an idea of why they’re flanking where they are
The big play was where Meta Athena ignored the payload, grouped up and used Mei’s Ice wall to climb over a roof to appear behind the enemy team. This is particularly impressive because not many people know you can even get onto that roof.
basically the attacking team used Mei who can summon a wall of ice, to go over a rooftop and attack from the defending team’s spawn side. Meanwhile they had their McCree (the cowboy) circle back and flank the defending team from up top, basically putting them into a grinder. The rest is just mayhem with people…
“PLUS they’d be raising their own children.”
Money doesn’t but happiness, but it can buy a jetski. Have you ever seen anyone sad on a jetski?
Yea this is a situation where this family could easily stop donating for a few years and be student loan free. Then knock yourself out going back to donating. They could also shave nearly $15,000 off by taking one vacation and cutting their car payments in half with slight smaller or cheaper cars. There’s zero reason…
Surprised it took me a bit of scrolling to reach this one. It was a bit of a “gimmie” but glad you did it.
“Even you can become President!”
