I hear ya. I’d ridden the ride as a kid and in 2011 my wife and I moved to Anaheim so we ended up going to Disneyland a few times and the first time we rode PotC I was pretty taken aback by the changes. On subsequent rides it didn’t bother me though, but it was pretty jarring at first.
