Yeah, I’m not fond of the cryogenics idea for the same reason, it’s too obvious. There’s a datapoint toward the end of the game where Elisabet says something about being glad she won’t have to live with Travis raising his own clone, so they’re definitely hinting at the possibility of generations of Ted Faro clones.

That’s my theory. It’s either a cryogenically frozen (and thawed) Ted Faro, or a Ted Faro clone.

I don’t think that’s what OP is saying. I think it’s more like this; say you hate hashtags but you start using them ironically to mock your hatred of them, but then a few years pass and you’re still doing it.
