This is exactly right. I’ve seen a lot of people arguing over whether the passenger or United was in the right. How about addressing United’s garbage policy of bumping people involuntarily after they overbook flights? Nobody is talking about that.

“They have every legal right to remove paying passengers from their flight and once the cops are called, all bets are off.”
“Contrary to all the discussions here, your contract of carriage (its on your ticket!) does not invest in you a god-given right to a seat. They can bump you.”
Why do you keep bringing up “white people”? The passenger was Asian, don’t try to make this about race.
Why? It’s their choice not to have kids. Why not respect that instead of acting like they’re making the “wrong” choice even though it’s only wrong in your eyes.
There really should be a cap on the number of vacations a President is allowed to take. I mean, we pay for those vacations, we should have some say in how many he’s allowed. This doesn’t just apply to Trump, but any sitting President.
Just making sure.
Are you sure it wasn’t the other woman who’s the ESL Instructor?
“and now she’s terrified she will never work again or become a laughing stock.”
It sucks when you make a completely reasonable point and everyone either misses the point or is blinded with emotion and responds with a bunch of negativity. I’ve this happen to me a lot on here so I feel ya.
So, it’s okay to respond to racism with sexism? That’s the position you’re taking?
I understand all of that, and if the design was universally praised you’d have a better point, but considering the polarizing (and largely negative) reaction to the fascia I’m sure it would’ve been simple to justify the cost. You know, like selling more Model 3's because more people find it visually appealing.
Look, I don’t doubt that people in the industry worry about justifying costs down to the cent, but we’re not talking about some new or advanced feature that they had to nix to order to meet their production budget.
They were obviously able to justify it for all of their other vehicles. Why all of those and not this one?
I agree, and the argument that it would cost too much is ridiculous. It would cost near to nothing and makes such a huge visual improvement that they’d more than make up for it with additional sales.
We have the Casper bed. This looks pretty good but that big seam down the middle sure is a bummer. I realize it’s modular and all but it’s still a shame to see it.

Came here to post this exact thing. Wife and I always freeze what we don’t eat. We don’t have a toaster oven so a little trick I use is to cook it in the oven first and then take it out and place it in a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil in the bottom. Gets the crust super crispy and delicious.
What’s this trend of using the word “conflate” when the person clearly means “confuse” or “mistake”. “Conflate” means to combine or merge into one. It doesn’t really make sense in the context she used it in.
That Daily Mail article is comparing the views of 14-15 year olds to the views of people ranging from their early 20s to mid-50's. It’s not a comparison that makes any sense.
I’ll be honest, I live in LA and I wasn’t even aware of this election. I’m thinking they did a pretty poor job getting the word out.
