He’s probably referring to the Rasmussen polls which is the only national poll that has Trump ahead. The weird thing is, Rasmussen is usually incorrect and known for it’s inconsistent polling groups. They overwhelmingly predicted a president Romney last time.

Yeah, I don’t want the cost of frivolous lawsuits factored into my movie ticket prices. Let the firm that brought the suit eat the cost of everything. They knew the risks when they tried to extort a settlement by filing a frivolous claim.

You are absolutely right. Finally someone makes a comment based on litigation reality instead of some sort of notion about who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. The story suggests evil money hungry theater chain is in effect dancing on the graves of those who perished. No - this is litigation. If I prevail…

I have to agree with this. It’s a movie premiere, not a transfer of the crown jewels. They aren’t set up for an armed attacker, and there’s no reason they should have been. While I can understand the anger and grief of the families, it wasn’t reasonable to sue.

Can’t wait for the court to also impose sanctions for bringing a frivolous lawsuit assessing court fees and defendants’ attorneys fees against the Plaintiffs.

I was at the Texas State Democratic Convention and the women behind me screamed voter fraud anytime Clinton was mentioned. I can assure you, even had their been voter fraud - Clinton won a landslide in Texas and Texas has open primaries.

I’ll agree with this. Again, I get that Jordan is just incredibly FULL right now - they have taken in a huge number of refugees. But the international community should be helping by taking some of these refugees, too! Then there’s room for these currently-starving refugees to get the heck in! If we took in more…

I agree that people act strangely in emergencies. Fight, flight or flee...my past job gave me the training to deal with a knife wielding nut job and I totally understand that most people don’t have that.
