I had the same thought, but then I realized that I’m pretty sure EA Play is only with the higher tier of Game Pass, so this seems to mean that even people on the basic tier have access to it now. Still not a huge win, but not a big deal anyway.

Maybe if the movie had utilized a Princess Bride-style framing device, where Andy shows the movie to his kids or something, and then featured that in all the trailers, audiences would have had an easier time getting behind it.

Here is the issue tho.. The potential is most definitely there. However, the technology is also most definitely not there either. They are investing a ton of money into something that will not be viable for quite some time, and im not talking months.. but years if not decades.

That’s what I mean, it looks awful. I don’t get any of the hype or why they believe it’s the future.
