+1 for kamados in general! I’m a BGE fan myself but if I bought another one I’d definitely be looking at cheaper brands. I’ve slow smoked at 180 degrees and seared at 1000+ degrees. I had an old but nice gas grill I finally donated because I never used it. Definitely check these out if you’re in the market.

You were an adult living in NYC, while these were teenagers on a bus trip from Kentucky and were at a predesignated meeting spot waiting for their bus so they couldnt just leave. Strange how you could even remotely conflate the two situations.
