To borrow an old joke, if Waffle House never closes, why does the door lock?
and very angry and uneducated women,
So very self centered and thoughtless.
I agree. It makes me think that they are setting her up to do something insane, and the whole peanut butter thing is foreshadowing. It would be a very soap opera turn, but this show is in pretty sudsy territory already.
Do you REALLY this his dick is big enough to be magic? Because he seems to me to be a prime example of Little Dick Syndrome.
So are my typing skills.
i should have added "in The Affair worldview." He doesn't.have much competition for "the best person in NY" in the show.
I was struck by the number of scenes in this show where Frances is on the outside looking while her husband makes her children happy. I have yet to see a scene (other than this ski trip) where she seems pleased to spend time with them.

It makes soap opera sense if it turns out that Allison stabbed Noah. Convoluted and subject to black out sense, but sense,
Yes, but Luisa is driving Cole to Allison. She can't win as long as she stands between Allison and Joanie. She may not be able to win if she does. Who knows whether that sex was a beginning or end?
I think the perspective difference is about what the real threat to Joanie is. I think it really was a pony (not a horse) and I think Allison did try to help rather than sink into a panic attack. I think Allison's view of herself is as a passive victim who wasn't there when her son died, and she sees herself as a…
I think the passivity is supposed to show how depressed she is. I think she has been adrift since her son died and it shows in everything from her promiscuity with Noah and the men of greater Montauk to the "I can't even" dropping off of Joanie with Cole.
My favorite parts of this show are the views of the same incidents by opposing spouses. This week the differences between the perceptions aren't just clothes, behavior and interactions. Cole and Allison have completely different memories of physical objects like cakes and horses.
He really is a prick.
I like any episode that uses Jackie Mason as the rabbi.
Damages - Robert destroyed Frances's ability to quit her job by destroying the family finances. Frances destroyed her own ability to get her dream job by trying to keep money from Robert. They both took their frustrations out on Robert's flip houses. Frances destroyed Robert's ability to make money at Fun Land by…
It really captured the horrors of divorce.
