that's pegfoot, he is a different hominid species. it's a common confusion.

why is someone riding a Pegasus? and for that matter, why is there a robot shooting a laser from it's arm?

honestly, this whole line is pretty offensive, as an atheist if I were to turn this around and make the same arguments that you are in this post to the reverse position, I would probably be labeled as a "smug atheist". You miss the whole point of atheism, it is not a contrarian belief - it is a lack of a subscription

if they are pulling out the classics, I would rather see an MD Geist or Nausiccaa live action..

the novel(s) were actually very Douglas Adams-esque in their handling of "science" which is certainly not as scienc-y as say Asimov but it isn't like 10,000 BC or anything.

I agree with your first 2 sentiments but disagree highly with your firefly call. Fillion played Mal in a way that brought more character that caricature to the role, yes he was a wisecracking rogueish captain but his performance brought a lot more humanity to what could have been a stale character.

I don't know but since there is another cut off possessed hand, if it is a sequel to the remake of the original, will we see a sequel to the sequel of the remake of the original army of darkness with a new person taking the place of the original main character in the sequel of the remake following the win over the

everything is available online if you know where to look for it

I think that it really depends on your beliefs, as someone that was raised w/o any religious attitudes, I found the exorcist laughable (as I do with a lot of other possession movies) the first time that I saw it.

Very true re the crusades. Really when it comes down to it medieval romanticism really has more to do with the honor of the military combat of the time and the way that when one survives that there must have been divine prowess or some form of higher power because the absolute bloodbath that battles were at the time

A little bit, but there was a lot more historical writing in the Simarillion than there was human interest stories that would lend itself to more familial, day to day stories.
