Hey here’s a fun thing; consider what kind of world we’d be living in if 2009 had opened with the following headlines.

I swear I wake up every morning waiting for the final domino to fall in this atrocious presidency. Then I call my senators (who don’t answer of course) sign 25 petitions that feel totally futile, and refresh my web pages incessantly until it’s time to drink myself into a stupor, fall asleep and do it all again the…
how-old also seems to think that Ted Cruz is a woman, that might be worth looking into as well...
I didn’t think I could dislike that little reptilian any more than I did already. My only consolation is knowing that deep down he probably hates himself just as much.
I kind of want Joe Rogan screaming over this action.
I like Malick and The Thin Red Line but no way. Saving Private Ryan is probably the best war movie that will ever be made. It manages to show the horrors of war while still being accessible. The closing battle scene is just as good as the opening.
At least it’s not John Bolton
From the look of that interview it seemed like Maher didn’t know anything about him other than he’s a Breitbart editor and “the face of the alt-right”. I get the sense he also sympathized about being kept from speaking at a campus.
I used to have arguments with a college friend over why I disliked Bill Maher but liked John Stewart. He liked both and couldn’t understand the difference in my thinking.
He has forgotten when Nate Diaz choked him out and he couldn’t deal with it and was gifted a rematch that he narrowly won.
Miller scares me the most actually. He’s a zealot and obviously without shame or a conscious. Everyone I know irl and on Twitter has had the same reaction to him and his shark like eyes, it’s like an animal instinct to warn us that he’s not quite right.
Stephen Miller is more than a propagandist, he’s a zealot. His rhetoric scares me; Conway’s just annoyed me.
I love that he thinks the problem is he put too much muscle into it.
And, especially after 2016, I will not countenance the bullshit arguments “He/she didn’t speak to my issues” or “He /she didn’t inspire me.”
I am getting hoarse from yelling this, but Republicans don’t even have to like their candidates for them to show up and vote for them. They will literally vote for horrible people who they don’t particularly like, because they know at the end of the day, that they’ll largely get the job done that they want done.
This has Bannon’s fingerprints all over it. By forcing the news media to defend itself, it serves the dual purpose of (a) creating wall-to-wall coverage of past terrorism events to whip up fear and (b) filling up airtime that could be spent on current events that is instead rehasing old events.
DENMAKR is an IKEA cabinet that I put together last week. After that little 3-hour project, I can safely say that IKEA’s designers are terrorists.
Did he ask about us?
Is anybody else worried that eventually, this wall is going to be used to keep us here?
