Was that really such a hated episode? I liked it a lot! I laughed a ton! I bet the same people who hate Rising Tides are the same who loved Say Uncle, which was pretty bad.

The closest I've come to disliking an SU episode was Say Uncle, which this was way funnier than. I love jokes on bad filmmakers, it gets me everytime! On the other hand I despise Uncle Grandpa.

It wouldn't give him any more depth, but one commenter during the Rebecca Sugar Reddit AMA suggested that Onion should be voiced herself! I like this idea.

This was easily one of, if not my all time favourite SU episode ever! So heartfelt and charming, featuring some of the best animation and songs in animated TV history!

Well it's already renewed for a Season 2, so it won't die for a while.
