At this point I think Valve should just give the rights over to Arkane Studios so they can do an immersive sim reboot of the series a la Prey.
I can;t stop laughing at the Lizardman fight.

Not mandatory but don’t expect to climb any corporate ladders if you don’t. Which is fine if you’re just in it for a paycheck for sure.
These fan game devs need to get better at being anonymous. If you plan on making a fan game do the following before starting. Get a VPN, make a brand new internet persona that no one knows about that has no links to you personally, host your site in a country that doesn’t give a crap about US copy right. Release your…
I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times. If you’re going to do this, gather a group of a hobbyists, do it in your spare time and seed it on all sorts of Torrent sites all at once. I legitimately don’t understand why people publicize these projects.
When will people learn that you gotta keep this stuff private until it’s completely done. Then you release it into the wild and pretty much it spreads then.
Fair use has its limits. Parody has its limits. And so on. This breaks all the laws that protect copyright, free or not, requiring the original game or not. Pretty simple.

Hey, Gearbox, you guys realize we haven’t had a new Borderlands game in 4 years, right?
Maybe time to do something about that, don’t ya think?
(No, I don’t count Tales and I know they’re working on BL3, don’t @me)
Think you missed the part where they are hiring some former members of the team to help finish it. It doesn’t fix the situation with all 200 of course, but it’s better than nothing and I’m sure part of the reason for finishing it was to give some of the laid off employees at least some more work.
You know, it is possible to feel bad for the employees but still be happy the season gets finished. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.
These both seem like pretty bad examples. In the first one the way the waves hit the shore then instantly disappear is really jarring and not at all realistic, and in the second the character has a large wave wash over him and yet absolutely nothing happens to either him or the wave.
Coming from a guy who has been living ocean side his entire life, that isn’t how water works, remotely. That is 20+ years of beach experience.
The wave itself looks pretty damn good, but the follow-through is lacking. In the title image a wave that looks to be about a foot high is reduced to nothing in a short distance. It is kind of hard to tell with the lighting and on my phone but that wave should carry well past the player's feet before losing all…
I was a huge fan of Kanye early on (before he fully bought into his own hype and went off the rails). It’s sad where he’s at now (and also sad how many people still defend everything he does).
You missed the “We should repeal the 13th Ammendment” and other attempts at making slavery look like it’s a good thing.
He will proudly tell you that he’s unmedicated for bipolar disorder, and it’s his “superpower.” Try to contain your genuine shock and surprise.
So, genuinely curious and also kind of concerned here, is there something mentally wrong with Kanye? Like is it confirmed.
