Considering we, as Guardians, have plenty of time to fight one another in the Crucible, make constant back-and-forth trips to the Tower as well as other planets, I would think the Speaker would have the time to at least brief us on what exactly is going on in the universe. Ffs..

There is a constant issue with the story speaking about the edge of the galaxy/system, yet you never get further away from earth than the asteroid belt.

I agree with the whole queuing bit. It just really removes you from the rest of the world, especially in the case of newer players. For instance, throughout many of the older zones you'll find maybe a handful of players questing and even fewer at the dungeon entrances - zero in most cases.
