The first Dead Space game is pretty damn good in regards to "nope" moments such as the one you described. The second one? Ehhhh, yeah - somewhat. The third one though had some freaky aspects to it, and maybe a few parts where you felt real terror. Other than that though the third was mostly an action game, imo.

Yeah, I'll certainly be waiting for a price drop as well before I consider purchasing it.
