no I meant he is trying to give the team anything to jump start them, he'll do things like unnecessary hits or try and carve through all 5 defenders by himself, or in this case try and draw a penalty to put his team a man up.

He's not 100% accurate, Ovi has the tendency to try to do too much at times (trying to draw the penalty) but his effort does seem to be lacking sometimes when the Capitals get down early.
