Because, whether we want to admit it or not, we’ve assigned some degree of desirability to beating the shit out of someone.

There seems to be this Twitter version where Amber is lying simply because her “story” doesn’t match other people’s experiences. Abuse comes in so many forms and no two are exactly alike. Maybe an individual who abuses women has a pattern, but even those victims experience their trauma differently.

I’d also like to take a moment to simp for Amber- I didn’t know much about her prior to this case, but the JD propaganda machine pushed me to find out more about her and the way Depp treated her.
