Yeah I don’t disagree, I can’t stand this fucker. I just thought it was interesting that he showed any sign of guilt whatsoever. I was like “huh.”
A+++
I read an interview with him a while ago talking about that new portrait book he has coming out where it seemed like he was aware that he was responsible for a lot of bad shit during his presidency. He seemed like he had a lot of guilt about it, as he should, but it was surprising to see him kind of admit to it. I…
I keep seeing people be all like “GUESS WARREN BEATTY NEEDED HIS GLASSES LOL”. Uhhh no, clearly he was given the wrong card, he even held up the incorrect one. And why don’t people remember Faye Dunaway read it? She thought he was dawdling to be funny but he was obviously confused about what the card said.
I think Lost in Translation is incredibly romantic, in so many ways. Even just the shots of the city at night with all the lights, from the backseat of a cab. So many things about it, really.
Sometimes I like to watch Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine, and Her as a trilogy. I feel like they all kind of go together.
"This was painted by Marc Chagall. And, as you can see, he was a very great artist."
"It's kind of little gaudy, don't you think?"
"Well, he was havin' some fun."
Yes. One of my all time favorites. I quote it all the time.
I love Whisper of the Heart! Before the days of readily available DVDs and before the internet was how it is now I had to buy all those Miyazaki movies as bootleg VHS tapes, I'd sit in my room at home and watch them for hours.
Those are the only characters I care about in this movie and I'm always pissed when I think how Laura Linney and Emma Thompson don't get to be happy at the end.
I talk about this movie all the time and nobody remembers it. I watched it on TV as a kid and loved it.
Great movie.
I also liked Will Ferrell in Everything Must Go, which isn't a romance but I really enjoyed it.
I remember seeing that movie twice in the theater and crying both times at that scene where Ennis finds the shirts in Jack's room. Just devastating.
A couple years ago I watched the whole trilogy in one sitting. It was awesome and horribly depressing all at once.
Fuck Jimmy Fallon.
Same. I cannot. Fuck this guy.
This was absolutely insane. I was sitting here at work watching it with my fists clenched the entire time, just willing him to drop dead from some kind of attack and die slowly and painfully in front of everyone. What a fucking embarrassment. A delusional, pathetic old man. He’s a billion dollars worth of trash.
I say this all the time, what if Twitter just…went away? What would happen?
